Cable Ship
 The
cable vessel "Segero" with its 6,30 capacity and maximum
speeds up to 5 knots, has the dimensions of 115m length, 20m
width and depth 7.8m and engine has 15,000 horsepower, can cruise
7,000 miles for 52 days nonstop. The ship accommodated up to
63 people including the crews and technicians. It has the main
port in Busan(Geoje) and registered in Panama. It has Lloyd
and Korea class, was manufactured in Youngdo ship yard of Hanjin
Heavy Industry using the state of the art technology in the
world.
Especially, it has the dynamic positioning system which can
help the cable work process continuously even in the terrible
weather, so it can find and trace the position of itself, and
it is designed with the concept of ship tail working that can
make easy cable work process compared to conventional cable
ship, so it has excellent characteristic in cable work process.
 Also,
it is capable of loading 4,000km of optic cables equivalent
to the trans-Altrantic
distance, laying and repairing cables on the seabed. this
cable ship is designed to load the access material and relaying
system in order to
do all kind of cable work process, and the main equipments
double for consideration of
the reliability.
